When you write in, please include:

Your User ID (find it in-app at Settings → User ID — long-press to copy)
A short description of what happened and what you expected
Screenshots if you have them

We don’t ask for your password (Stockd uses Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google — we never see it) and we don’t ask for your subscription receipt.

Common questions

“I deleted my account but I’m still getting charged”

Deleting your Stockd account does not cancel your Apple subscription. The subscription is managed by Apple, not Stockd, and only you can cancel it.

To cancel:

Open Settings on your iPhone
Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions
Tap Stockd, then Cancel Subscription

“I deleted my account, re-signed in, but Pro features aren’t back”

Known limitation in our first release. If you had an active Stockd Pro subscription when you deleted your account, the subscription stays attached to your Apple ID but doesn’t automatically re-link to your new Stockd account.

Fix: email us at info@kynerastudios.com with your new User ID and the email address on your Apple ID. We’ll re-link your subscription manually. (We’ll automate this in a future update.)

Stockd uses Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google. If either is failing:

Check that you have a working internet connection
Try force-quitting the app and reopening
If you previously revoked Stockd’s access in Settings → Apple ID → Password & Security → Apps Using Apple ID, you’ll need to allow it again

If sign-in still fails, email us with the error message you see.

“Setting up your kitchen…” hangs

On rare occasions, account provisioning can fail. The “Couldn’t finish setting up” screen has a Try again button — tap it once or twice. If it still fails, take a screenshot showing the User ID and error code at the bottom of the screen and email it to us.

Stockd Pro lets you invite up to 5 household members. Each member needs their own Stockd Pro subscription to access Pro features on their device — the subscription covers one Apple ID at a time (we don’t currently support Apple Family Sharing).

To invite: Settings → Household → Invite member (in-app).

“What does Stockd Pro include?”

Unlimited AI recipe suggestions (free tier is capped at 5 / month)
AI-generated recipe images
Step-by-step cooking instructions
Bulk “add all missing ingredients” from a recipe to your grocery list
Multi-member household sharing (3+ members)

Free includes: full inventory tracking, expiration dates, barcode scanning, bulk scan, basic grocery list, 5 AI recipes / month, basic “add this recipe to my grocery list” path, and one household invite.

Privacy

We collect the minimum needed to make the app work — your pantry items, your grocery list, your meal plans, and the AI recipes you generate. We don’t sell data, share with third parties beyond what’s required to run the service (Firebase for storage and auth, Google Gemini for AI generation, RevenueCat for subscriptions), and we don’t track you across apps.
